I am a partner here at Padway & Padway, Ltd.  I have been a practicing attorney since 1975. I have extensive litigation experience including first degree homicide cases, personal injury, products liability, divorce, commercial and real estate trials. In addition, I have represented Unions and their members in all manner of negotiations and arbitration proceedings throughout my career.  Given the scope of my practice, I have experience representing both labor and management and this provides me with a unique perspective on labor and employment issues.  I believe that hard work, open communication and honest assessment of a case leads to the best attainable results. I try to empower my clients to make informed decisions through honest communication. I take great pride in my work and endeavor to provide the best possible legal representation for my clients. Since a client places his or her trust in my abilities, I am obligated to utilize my best efforts on their behalf.

My wife Janet and I have four children. In addition to my law practice, I currently serve as the Chairman of the North Shore Fire Commission.  I have also served as a City of Milwaukee Fire and Police Commissioner, serving as the Chairperson for that commission for 4 one year terms.  I have in the past and I continue to provide extensive volunteer service in a number of capacities.  I currently serve as a board member on the Milwaukee Survive Alive Foundation and I am a member of the Milwaukee Fire Bell Club, an organization supporting local fire departments.  I am also a member of the Milwaukee Winter Club Youth Hockey Board of Directors and Coordinate the Coaches Committee. I have coached youth hockey and currently  referee youth and high school hockey. I feel that it is a privilege to assist in the development of the young people in my community.
